Wide-Format and Digital Printing Technician

AP Corp, is looking to add a Production Assistant to our growing graphics production team. At AP Corp, we print and high-quality commercial graphics and vehicle wraps for our clients, and as a production assistant you will make this happen. Working alongside other production team members, you will own the process of the creation of these graphics.

As a production assistant, you must be eager to learn and passionate about delivering a quality product for our customer. You would be an integral part of the lifeblood of our company. Responsibilities:

• Align yourself with our Core Values - Be Curious, Be Fearless, Be Better, Collaborate, & Care.

• Understand and maintain the order of operations for wide format print production.

• Monitor your production queue through our project management software to meet or exceed project deadlines.

• Upload files to our RIP software and maximize material usage.
• Ensures all equipment is maintained and up to date
• Print, laminate, machine plot, trim, and ship graphics for vinyl and clear film applications.

• Utilize various wide format machines including latex and UV printers, laminators, and precision plotters

• Collaborate with the Design & Install team to complete file preparation for print

• Manage multiple projects at once

• Complete scheduled machine maintenance

• Troubleshoot print errors and maintain quality control

• Manage graphic material inventory

Salary:

$18 - $22 per hour

• Experience with responsibilities listed above

• Previous print production experience

• Proficiency in Illustrator, Photoshop, and Onyx Rip Software

• Able to lift/carry heavy objects (50 – 75 lbs).

• Ability to stand for long periods of time.

• Attention to detail, and an eye for consistency
