Operations Manager

Location: Maryland HQ
Compensation Range: $72K–$85K (phased growth plan with bonuses & incentives)

AP Corp is seeking a results-driven, detail-focused leader to own the flow of projects from sale to install. This role is designed for someone who thrives in fast-paced, high-stakes environments and who wants a clear path into full operations leadership.

The Role

This is a phased leadership track:

  • Phase 1 (Coordinator): Take control of scheduling, materials, and project organization.

  • Phase 2 (Production Leadership): Oversee production scheduling, quality control, and eliminate bottlenecks.

  • Phase 3 (Operations Manager): Own materials management, supervise the Wraps Account Manager, and drive gross profit performance across all projects.

Your Responsibilities

  • Command the workflow: From order to packaging, you’ll ensure nothing slips through the cracks.

  • Control materials: Everything in, everything out — staged correctly, tracked precisely, and optimized for cost.

  • Drive accountability: Supervise the Wraps Account Manager, mentor production staff, and enforce standards.

  • Protect profitability: Manage labor and materials against budgets and own gross profit outcomes.

  • Engineer efficiency: Design and refine processes that reduce waste, speed up execution, and raise quality.

  • Report & improve: Track KPIs and recommend changes that increase operational performance.

Job requirements

Requirements:

  • Proven experience building and leading teams

  • Wide Format Printer Operations including Onyx or Flexi-sign

  • Project management experience in the sign industry or commercial construction

  • 5+ Years using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop

  • Bachelors Degree
