Job description
Opportunity for a Territory Sales Representative – South Florida
We’re hiring an experienced outside sales professional to own a defined residential and commercial territory across South Florida. This is a quota-carrying field role with clear expectations: typical projects range from $2,000–$50,000; target production is 110–130 closed projects annually. You’ll split your week between in-person site consultations (measurements, condition notes, scope reviews) and desk work (phone/video consultations, quoting, proposal delivery, disciplined follow-up). If you haven’t already run a high-volume pipeline and closed technical, service-based work in this range, this won’t be a fit.
You’ll run the full sales cycle end-to-end: prospecting (cold and warm), discovery, site documentation, scope and pricing, proposal presentation, negotiation, close, and clean handoff to operations. A typical week includes 12–14 in-person visits across Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach, plus steady remote consultations. You’ll manage a mixed funnel—marketing/referral inbound plus self-generated outbound—and keep a reliable forecast by maintaining accurate records in the CRM (HubSpot or similar). Candidates should be comfortable engaging homeowners and commercial decision-makers, explaining technical solutions plainly, and moving deals to signature without drama.
How success is measured
We track weekly activity pace (expect ~30 cold touches and ~100 follow-ups/client engagements), proposal accuracy and timeliness, pipeline quality/forecast reliability, professional handoffs, and closed revenue/projects. Top performers in this territory are intentional with follow-up, keep a clean CRM, and close consistently month over month.
Minimum requirements (must meet all)
• 5–7 years combined inside/outside sales with documented quota attainment
• Proven success managing a high-volume pipeline and closing service-based projects
• Comfort with field work: measurements, site notes, condition photos; basic plan/scope reviews
• Clear written and verbal communication; confident proposal delivery to residential and commercial buyers
• Proficiency with CRM (HubSpot preferred) and Microsoft Office
• Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and daily local travel across South Florida
• Authorized to work in the U.S.; primarily Monday–Friday with occasional customer meetings outside standard hours
Nice to have
Experience in construction/building materials, glazing, window/security film, or environmental graphics; bilingual Spanish/English.
Compensation and benefits
Base salary (between $55,000.00 and $70,000.00) plus uncapped commission; realistic OTE $110,000+ in first year with role expectation OTE $140,000.00+ in subsequent years. Full benefits: health insurance, paid time off, and 401(k) with company match. Company tools provided (CRM access, proposal templates, field resources).
