Opportunity for a Sales Estimator
We are seeking a disciplined, detail-oriented Sales Estimator who thrives in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment. You must have prior success reviewing construction plans, estimating technical scopes, preparing proposals, and supporting the sales process through accurate, timely bidding.
This role requires focus, accuracy, and the ability to manage a consistent volume of estimating work under clear deadlines and performance expectations. You’ll be responsible for identifying and tracking bid opportunities, analyzing architectural drawings, communicating with general contractors and procurement teams, and delivering clean, competitive proposals that win business.
To succeed in this position, you must demonstrate:
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Confidence reviewing construction documents and identifying scopes of work
• The ability to work independently and manage daily priorities without oversight
• Clear and professional communication with project stakeholders
• Persistence in follow-up and accuracy in documentation
You should have prior experience supporting or leading estimating efforts in a construction or technical sales environment. This is a high-visibility role with direct impact on company revenue, requiring comfort spending extended time at a desk as well as visiting job sites to confirm field conditions.
This is a quota-carrying position with clear expectations, performance tracking, and long-term growth potential within the organization.

Job requirements
To be considered for the Sales Estimator role, candidates must meet the following criteria:
2+ years of experience in construction estimating, sales estimating, or technical quoting
Demonstrated ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, specifications, and bid documents
Proven success working under performance expectations such as revenue targets, close rates, or proposal volume
Comfortable spending extended time (40+ hours per week) reviewing construction documents and preparing estimates
Strong organizational skills with a track record of accuracy, follow-through, and task completion
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; professional phone and email etiquette
Ability to travel locally to construction sites for field verification when required
Proficient with Microsoft Excel; familiarity with basic estimating or CRM software a plus
Self-directed, responsive, and capable of managing priorities independently
